Brothers and Sisters,

As we prepare to join in with thousands of other Christians across our great land today at noon, I am reminded of the power of prayer when it is joined by faith.  Jesus repeatedly instructed his followers to pray with faith believing and leave the results up to God.

(Mark 11:22)  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

(Mark 11:23)  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

(Mark 11:24)  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

As of this morning, 202,894 Christian brothers and sisters have visited Bro. Ralph’s website and registered for this time of prayer.  https://ralphsextonministries.com/prayer-revival/.

I was speaking with Bro. John and Sister Kay Richardson last night over the phone and Sister Kay read me a poem that she had recently written.  As many of you know, Sister Kay has written many poems over the years, but I believe this one is the best one she has written thus far.  I asked her to send it to me so that I could share it with everyone this morning.  I believe that you will agree with me when I say that this poem has the touch of God on it.  I think it is very fitting today as we prepare our hearts and minds for this special time of prayer for America.

A PRAYER FOR AMERICA AND ME!

By: Kay Richardson

The world is in chaos, Lord
There seems to be trouble on every hand
But your word says if we will humble ourselves
repent and turn back to you, then you will heal our land.

Please, send conviction to each heart in America.
Help us to be what you would have us to be
but perhaps dear Lord
you need to start with me.

Give me the desire to study your word more
Then wisdom to understand what I read
and we already know I need to spend
more time down on my knees.

May I never ignore the look on a hungry child’s face
Or the tear in an old man’s eye.
And when I think there is nothing I can do
let me never fail to try.

Help me never to judge other’s Lord
You said that should be left up to you
because I would judge the outward appearance
You look inside to see if a heart loves you.

So, I humbly pray for America
Please, show us your mercy and your grace
Because without your Son Jesus
we will not win the race!

Chronicles 7:14)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lord, we stand in need of REVIVAL!

Bro. Rick
